According to the latest release from the General Administration of Customs, China's SiMn alloy exports in September 2024 were 5,002.3 mt, up 173.01% MoM.

According to the latest release from the General Administration of Customs, China's SiMn alloy exports in September 2024 were 5,002.3 mt, up 173.01% MoM. The cumulative export volume from January to September was 31,300 mt, down 24.83% YoY. In September 2024, China’s SiMn alloy imports were 5,443.54 mt, up 349.16% MoM. The cumulative import volume from January to September was 22,500 mt, up 166.58% YoY.

The reason for the increase in export volume in September was that demand in the peak season was good, and customers were highly enthusiastic about purchasing raw materials. According to import and export data, the main export volume of SiMn alloy came from Indonesia, while the main import volume came from India.
